Thank you for agreeing to speak in the CAPS course: Risk Assessment and Interviewing, on
March 27, 2002. The course is taught by Shannon Schmidt, Psy.D., L.P. The class meets
Wednesday nights from 5 to 8pm, in Rm. 39 on the lower level of Peters Hall on the St. Paul
Campus of the University of Minnesota. CAPS will pay for your parking when you park in the
Gortner Avenue ramp directly across the street from Peters Hall. A map is enclosed.
There are eleven students in the class. The students enrolled in the course are at the post-BA
level and are taking the class as part of the Child Abuse Prevention Studies certificate program in
the School of Social Work. Several types of audio-visual equipment are available for your use.
