Product Description-Carnival Glass: The Best of the Best
(Identification Guide to Rare and Unusual Pieces)
The authors have gathered the rare, the unusual, and the expensive glass so very desirable to collectors and so very attractive
to newcomers. For the first time, readers may view items that only rarely come out of private collections and almost never go on
public auction. Collectors will marvel at the more than 450 full-color pieces, whether they are scarce due to availability, shape, or
color. Organized alphabetically by pattern, the book features items in standard shapes as well as whimsey pieces. Edwards's &
Carwile's latest book truly does feature the 'best of the best' in the carnival collecting world, and readers will enjoy perusing this
coffee table book. AUTHORBIO: Bill Edwards is a noted expert on pressed, carnival, and opalescent glass, and has been
authoring books since 1975. He now co-authors books with expert Mike Carwile. His knowledge is unsurpassed in the glass
world. He has written books on Carnival Glass, Northwood Carnival Glass, Millersburg Glass, Opalescent glass, Rarities of
Carnival Glass, and Pressed Glass. AUTHORBIO: Mike Carwile is a noted expert on pressed, carnival, and opalescent glass,
and has been authoring books with Bill Edwards since 1998. Together, their knowledge is unsurpassed in the glass world. He

features "The best of the best" in carnival glass. Rare pieces worth literally hundreds of dollars are featured, some that
collectors will never see except for in the pages of this wonderful volume, brought to you by the authors of the bestselling
"Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass," now in its fourteenth edition.

This review is from: Carnival Glass: The Best of the Best (Identification Guide to Rare and Unusual Pieces) (Hardcover) I read
the prior reviews before buying this book. I have found it very helpful in buying carnival glass. Without it, I would have been
somewhat lost. I have a strong desire to buy the D Doty book on the subject as well now.

This review is from: Carnival Glass: The Best of the Best (Identification Guide to Rare and Unusual Pieces) (Hardcover) The
pictures were great, but there were no prices included. Very dissapointed - waste of my money. I'll need to read the description
more closely!
