Maple Point News Staff: There will be a brief meeting during homeroom on Tuesday, September 11th. Please check in with
your homeroom teacher and report directly to C112.

Attention all 7th and 8th Grade Students: The sports program at Maple Point is broken down in seasons. In the fall we offer Field
Hockey, Soccer and Football. In the beginning of winter we offer Girls Basketball and Wrestling. After the holidays, Boys
Basketball starts. In the spring Track, Softball and Baseball will all start up. We also have Cheerleading which starts in the fall
and runs to the end of Basketball season. Please listen for the announcements for your sport’s first meeting. Any questions see

MPMS News, the morning announcements here at Maple Point is looking for new anchors. If you have a great personality and
good reading skills, this could be the start of something big! MPMS News is also in need of a full production crew to work behind
the scenes; camera operators, audio technicians, directors, technical directors, and other positions – no experience necessary. We
will train you. See Mr. Davis in C112, Tech Ed to sign-up or for more information.

The school store is now open! Every morning at 7:30 the store will be open to sell hoodies, sweatpants, tie dye t-shirts, locker
mirrors, highlighters, glue sticks, pencils, notebooks, loose leaf paper, smencils and SMENS. New this year to the store are flash
drives, scented markers and MUCH MORE! The school store is located in the far corner of the cafeteria. . . . Please stop by see
what we have in store for you!

Are you looking for a school activity to get involved in? If so, the school store is looking for a few good workers. . Applications
are available at the school store, please stop by any morning to pick on up!

ALEX’S LEMONADE STAND: On Saturday, September 22nd the 7th Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Car Show and Walk-a-
Thon will be held at Maple Point. The stand honors include present and past Neshaminy students. All students and faculty are
invited to attend. The walk-a-thon is being held in memory of former Maple Point teachers Denise Dintinger and Dyan Pinckney.
Walk-a-thon forms are available in the main office. Join in and help find a cure for childhood cancer.

Picture Day is Tuesday, September 25th. Order form packets will be distributed during homeroom on Friday, September 21 st. If
you will be paying with cash, please bring in the exact amount of your order. No change will be given.
