Right Hand for Beginners: Lesson 5
                                        By Christopher Schlegel

What else does the right hand do?

Like your left hand, your right hand also has a secondary, but equally important, job called muting. This means that your right
hand fingers and palm will also have to stop strings from making unwanted sound. Often this is done by lightly resting your
palm or the side of your palm on the strings that you do not want to sound. Also the right hand fingers and palm must
frequently handle the job of stopping the strings from ringing at the appropriate time.

As with left hand muting, this might also sound complicated, but with practice it can easily become an automatic process.
