2012-13 School Uniform Dress code Policy
Color Choices: White, Light Blue, Royal Blue, Navy, Yellow, Gold, or Pink
Short or Long sleeve polo type shirt with a collar; solid in color with no fringes, embroidery, or
monogram (except school logo)
School t-shirts, turtle necks, and sweatshirts (without hoods or front pockets) are also permitted.
Only white undershirts may be worn under collared shirts and school t-shirts.
All shirts must be worn tucked into the pants.
Pants, skirts, shorts, and jumpers
Color choices: Black, Navy, or Khaki (Jeans are not permitted and may only be worn on Fridays
with a Morgan shirt or other “special” days designated by the principal.)
Must fit at waistline and be the proper size for the student.
Must be worn with belt if clothing item has belt loops.
Skirts and shorts must be at fingertip length (The hem must be longer than the tips of your
fingers when your arms hang at your sides).
Cargo pants, skinny leg pants, or tights are not permitted.

Shoes and socks
Color choices: Black, Brown, or School Colors (refer to list above under “shirts”).
Must be athletic shoes or closed toe and heel (Athletic shoes must be worn on the days students
Must be properly laced and/or buckled at all times.
Socks are required and must be visible above the top of the shoe.
Shoes with lights or roller blade heels are not allowed.
Other Miscellaneous Items
Only small earrings (no larger than a quarter) are allowed. No other jewelry is permitted.
Only clear or mesh book bags are allowed.
Students are not allowed to carry purses around the building.
Students may not wear their coats throughout the building during the school day. Instead,
students should layer clothing or wear long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts during cooler
