Description of Duties:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Football Coach and is responsible for:
Assisting in the planning and evaluating of all aspects and facets of a football program with a rich
history in the NCAA;
Recruitment of skilled and academically qualified student-athletes and monitoring academic progress;
Assisting in planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating practice sessions along with development,
implementation, and evaluation of game plans and strategies.
Serving as a leader, mentor, and role model for athletics;
Assisting head coach in the preparation of team schedule, fundraising initiatives, team travel,
administrative processes/procedures.;
Ensuring compliance with all necessary policies, procedures.

Secondary responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Assisting with intercollegiate event management;
Assisting with supervision of weight room and overseeing student-athlete study hall sessions;
Assisting other intercollegiate coaches with the admissions process.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree;
Minimum of three years coaching experience in intercollegiate football or related field;
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills;
Must be highly motivated self-starter, have sound judgment, and decision-making ability along with
attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and five years of intercollegiate football defensive coaching experience.
