                                                      DIARY ENTRY

Task If you do two languages.

You can do this task in either of your two languages. Decide on the language and then complete the task below.

French / Spanish/German:

Imagine that you have been on holiday to a French / Spanish /German speaking country. Write a diary entry for a
whole week (minimum of 150 words) in French using the Past tense and think about the following points:

                                          Where did you go? Why (present tense for why)
                                          What did you do / see? How was it?
                                          What did you eat / drink? How was it?
                                          What did you wear?
                                          What was the weather like?
                                          Where would you like to go next year? (future tense)

The maximum level for this is a level 6. If you are to achieve a level 6 you will need to include accurate examples of
all 3 tenses along with examples of opinions and reasons.

                                                  FRENCH CONNECTION

Task If you only do French.

You are writing an email to your French friend about your normal eating / drinking habits and also about meeting up
with your favourite celebrity at the weekend. Include the following points:

                                          What do you normally eat and drink for breakfast / lunch / dinner?
                                          Give opinions about the things you eat and drink.
                                          Explain about your meeting with a celebrity at the weekend. Use the help
                                           box below to explain what you would like to do when you meet the famous
                                           person.
  Je mange – I eat                    Je bois – I drink                           C’est – it is (bien, fantastique, nul)

  Je voudrais – I would like          aller au cinema / à la piscine / en ville

                                      manger du poulet / de la pizza / des frites

                                      écouter de la musique

                                      jouer au tennis / au foot

                                      boire du jus d’orange / du chocolat chaud

The maximum level for this is a level 5. If you are to achieve a level 5 you will need to include accurate examples of 2
