Fresno County Chapter
NATIONAL LATINO PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
2131 Kern Street Suite A110, Fresno, Ca. 93721
Dear Community / Business Members:
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Fresno County National Latino Peace
Officers Association. We are the largest Latino law enforcement organization in the United
States with chapters throughout the country. Its membership includes Law Enforcement
professionals and Community Members. For more information on the National LPOA please
feel free to go to www.nlpoa.org.
The purpose of the organization is to promote community service and mentoring aimed at
preventing and reducing juvenile delinquency and reducing neighborhood tensions through
awareness programs and student mentoring programs. The NLPOA has established
Scholarship programs for those individuals who wish to continue their higher education
throughout the United States.
Thus, we are continuing our tradition with the Second Annual Fresno County NLPOA Golf
Tournament, (www.fresnonlpoa.org) which will raise funds for Fresno County NLPOA
Scholarship Fund. We are requesting your assistance as a “Tee Sponsor” for the Tournament.
Your tax exempt contribution would enhance the Scholarship Fund. This event is expected to
attract many participants and will be an excellent opportunity to have your company recognized.
The Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Madera Municipal Golf Course in
Madera, CA. Please let us know if you can join us in our goal of providing educational funds for
our future leaders by becoming a corporate sponsor.
