) JUDGMENT ENTRY
This matter came before the Court upon the Court’s own motion to seal the juvenile records
incorporated by attachment delivered by to the
Court pursuant to O.R.C. § 2151.356(B)(1)(a). Upon review of the juvenile records attached the Court finds
that, as required by O.R.C. § 2151.356(B)(2), no complaint was filed as a result of the records incorporated
herein and that persons named in these records were not brought before the court or referred to the court as
a result of the acts referenced.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the records in these matters are hereby sealed, and that
records shall be removed from the main file and secured in a separate file that contains only sealed records
and is accessible only to this Court; further, that all index references to these cases shall be deleted, and that
inspection of the sealed record may be permitted only as stated in O.R.C. § 2151.357(E).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, except as provided under O.R.C. § 2151.357(D), the
proceedings in these cases are hereby deemed never to have occurred and the Court may properly reply that
no record exists with respect to any inquiry in this matter; further, upon any application for employment,
license, or other right or privilege, any appearance as a witness, or any other inquiry, the juveniles whose
records are attached herein may respond as if the sealed record, or any arrest related thereto, did not occur.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all persons, law enforcement agencies and
other governmental agencies shall deliver to the Court all original records of these cases maintained by the
public office or agency, except fingerprints held by a law enforcement agency, DNA specimens collected
pursuant to O.R.C. § 2152.74, and DNA records derived from DNA specimens pursuant to O.R.C. §
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all persons, law enforcement agencies and other governmental
agencies upon delivering the records of this case to the Court shall expunge, specifically, destroy, delete, erase
and make permanently irretrievable, any remaining records of these cases that are subject of this order, except
fingerprints held by a law enforcement agency, DNA specimens collected pursuant to O.R.C. § 2152.74, and
DNA records derived from DNA specimens pursuant to O.R.C. § 109.573.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk shall send notice of this Judgment Entry to any and all
public agencies or offices that the Court has reason to believe may have a record of the sealed records.
