New Coach/Mentor Role Adds Value for Credit Unions
Mississauga, ON: The Learning Institute, the training and development arm of
Level Five Strategic Partners Inc., is pleased to announce the addition of a
coaching/mentoring service to its operational training programs.
“The real value of TLi’s training is demonstrated when staff return to the credit
union, apply the skills they have learned, and generate positive results in their
own environment on a day-to-day basis,” says Randy Tanaka, a principal of
Level Five. “We see this role as providing the post-classroom support that isn’t
available through other training providers,” he explained.
The coach/mentor is available by e-mail or telephone to all students who attend
the Professional Credit Granting School, the Member Service Academy, and the
Branch Manager series of courses, as well as other TLi operational workshops.
Janet Pirie, a seasoned credit union professional with experience in all areas of
financial services, is TLi’s first coach/mentor. Most recently, she was a branch
manager at Alterna Savings. Janet has lending, investment, operations, and risk
management expertise that spans a career of than 30 years in banks and credit
