1.       McCall’s BALLALYN’S BACK FOR GOOD AT MCLIGHT. Impressive Irish Wolfhound
bitch, beautifully made, all quality, harmonious construction flows both standing and on the move,
well boned, lovely head and expression, good length of neck and shoulder layback, straight front and
rear, strongly made all through, in good coat, well presented and handled.
2.       Hickie’s ROLETA REMEMBER TO SHINE. Standard S/H Dachshund.
3.       Hardwick & Slater’s VALOKKI SOREN. Finnish Spitz.
A.V.N.S.C. HOUND POST GRADUATE (6, 3 Absent)
1.       Clarke’s TEKALHAUS OCTOPUSSY. Standard L/H Dachs, maturing bitch, so very well
constructed, feminine head, good length of neck, well angulated all through, strong bone and feet,
very soundly made and moves truly and steadily.
2.       Catchpole’s FALCONCRAG SPANISH STEPS. Ibizan Hound.
3.       Hickie’s ROLETA WHEN TO SHINE FOR PICKARDACH. Standard S/H Dachshund.
A.V.N.S.C. HOUND OPEN (7, 1 Absent)
1.       Rimell’s YANJOY GOLDEN BOY AT BORODINO. R/W Borzoi dog, refined head of
correct proportions, good ear set, well balanced all through, elegant and stylish, straight front and
rear, pleasing outline, another very soundly constructed and this is reflected on the move, ground
covering free flowing action. In very good coat and condition, well presented, a quality example of
his breed. Best AVNSC Hound & Hound Group 2.
2.       Moorey’s GEZANCOL WHOOPSIE DAISY. Afghan Hound.
3.       Sutton’s DAMAI MASTER BENEDICT. Standard L/H Dachshund.


BASSET GRIFFON VENDEEN (PETIT) POST GRADUATE (3, 1 Absent)
1.      McEwan’s MAUDAXI TYCOON GINGER FROM MARUNNEL. 8 month old dog, so
confident, workmanlike and houndy, different in type to 2, lovely head and good length of neck,
straight front and rear, well constructed all through, good topline, hard jacket well presented, happy
active, free and sound mover with good tail carriage, if he carries on in this form should go far. Best
of Breed & Hound Puppy Group 2.
2.      Mead, Skerritt & Betts’ MONKHAMS KIWI.
BASSET GRIFFON VENDEEN (PETIT) OPEN (3, 1 Absent)
1.      Mead, Skerritt & Betts’ MONKHAMS JACK SPARROW. Mature dog, presents a pleasing
outline, lovely masculine head, happy disposition, strongly made, well ribbed. Preferred his more
balanced appearance and profile movement to 2, moves with excellent reach and drive but was just
moving a little close behind, in which respect he lost out to the puppy. In good coat, well presented.
2.      McEwan’s CULDAWS DIESLE FROM MARUNNEL.


BASSET HOUND JUNIOR (2, 1 Absent)
1.      Huntley’s MAJALIS MISS MOLLY IN SPRINGVALLEY. Quality b/t bitch presented in
super condition, gleaming coat, lovely head and expression, not overdone in any way, good neck
and shoulders, excellent front construction, solidly built, good topline and tailset, excellent action
with stern carried correctly on the move. Best Puppy & Hound Puppy Group 3.
BASSET HOUND POST GRADUATE (2, 1 Absent)
1.      Berriman’s MAJALIS MEMPHIS MINNIE. Another quality bitch from this kennel,
presenting a good outline, another well balanced feminine head, strong front, good forechest and
shoulder layback, well made hindquarters, moved soundly and easily, another well presented in
gleaming coat shining with condition.
BASSET HOUND OPEN (2, 1 Absent)

1.      Berriman’s MAJALIS BO DIDDLEY. Super dog, every inch a male, masculine well
proportioned head, good length of neck, well angulated front and rear, stands four square on strong
bone and feet, another very soundly made dog moving with purpose and maintaining his topline and
positive outlook. Well presented and expertly handled. This breeder can be very proud of the
consistent type and quality being produced. Best of Breed & Hound Group 3.


WHIPPET PUPPY (3)
1.      Bird’s BLANDINGS IMPERIAL. 9 month old bitch, presented a balanced outline,
feminine head and pleasing expression, straight front and rear, correct length of loin, shorter in this
respect than 2. Substance with elegance, moved freely with reach and drive. Best Puppy & Puppy
Group 4.

3.      Moore’s BLUESTREAK BLOND AMBITION
WHIPPET UNDERGRADUATE (5, 1 Absent)
1.      Bishop’s TAHIR RISING STAR. Dark brindle white bitch, strongly made, caught the
eye on the move, moves freely with extension and drive. Stands over a lot of ground, though
loin could be a little shorter, otherwise a very soundly constructed ultra feminine girl with a
lovely head and expression, straight front and rear, combining substance with elegance.

WHIPPET POST GRADUATE (5)
1.      Bristow’s SURRIO SWEET CHARITY. Fawn bitch, caught the eye on her profile
movement, so effortless and ground covering. Not overdone in any way, feminine head, good
topline, straight front and rear, a little slack in pasterns but her true movement and overall
balanced outline easily won her place.

3.      Mackay’s SWEET REVENGE
OPEN (6, 3 Absent)
1.      Bird’s BLANDINGS INFATUATION. Quality bitch, classic outline, best constructed
here today, well angulated all through, strong hindquarters and straight when viewed from front
and rear. Though she moved a little close behind, her profile movement was effortless and her
front movement was straight and true. Best of Breed.

HOUND GROUP
1.      Buckley’s MUMTAZ SIROCCO. Upstanding cream Saluki dog, coming to his best,
immaculate in all respects, refined elegance, statically so well constructed and moves soundly from
all angles, absolutely flows on the move, beautifully handled and immaculately presented, has great
style and ring presence. Must surely gain his crown. Delighted to see him win Best in Show.
2.      YANJOY GOLDEN BOY AT BORODINO. Borzoi
3.      MAJALIS BO DIDDLEY. Basset Hound
4.      ROSSUT KITE OF PAKOWHAI. Beagle

PUPPY HOUND GROUP
1.     TROOPERSWAY HALO AT DONAY. Quality tri Beagle bitch, well grown, balanced head
and soft expression, good length of neck, forechest and front angulation, well ribbed back, good
bend of stifle, moved stylishly and truly with freedom and drive.

A. V. OPEN CHARITY STAKES (32, 18 Absent)
1.     GEZANCOL WHOOPSIE DAISY. Afghan Hound bitch, such a show girl, lost out for best
AVNSC Hound through lack of coat underneath, but her positive qualities cannot be ignored , ultra
feminine and such a show girl, very well constructed, excellent angulation front and rear, moves
with drive and extension with joyful springy action and tail correctly held.
2.     Edridge’s      CAMUSMOR BRUICHLADDICH AT TILITA
