									      SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP
               USE OF BRANDING GUIDELINES

These guidelines have been put together to show how the brand collateral for
the Sustainable Healthcare Partnership programme should be used in all
documents which are produced.

Consistent use of the brand collateral is key to establishing a strong
understanding of the work of the partnership in Cambridgeshire amongst all
our stakeholders, staff and patients.

These guidelines will help everyone using them to ensure brand consistency
in the information that they send out.

If you have any queries on these guidelines please contact the
Communications Team at NHS Cambridgeshire:

1. SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP LOGO

The logo is the most visible part of the brand identity. As such, it represents
the values and attributes associated with the NHS and in particular the
‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’.

Reducing the name of the project from the original five words to three,
means that it will be much more manageable, yet still maintains the meaning
and enough similarity to the original “Partnership for Sustainable Healthcare
Development” so as not to appear that a new programme is being
introduced.

The strapline “Getting it right across Cambridgeshire” reinforces that this
programme is about our community – and getting it right for them. It gives a
sense of ownership and of working together to improve health and care in our
county.

The strapline “ Getting it right across Cambridgeshire” is used in all the logos
associated with the ‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’.

There are two elements to the logo that has been created:

 The ‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’ logo which is the overarching
       umbrella brand for all projects

 The logos that have been created for each of the nine specific work
       streams.

2. USING THE SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE PARTNERSHIP LOGO

The ‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’ logo should be used consistently at
all times. It is the overarching logo for the ‘Sustainable Healthcare
Partnership’ which is being used to promote all the work streams within the
partnership.

You should only use original digital graphic files of the logo which can be
accessed from the Communications Team at NHS Cambridgeshire.

The logo should never be redrawn or changed in any way. You should not
attempt to recreate the logo yourself. If you are in any doubt as to the correct
use of the logo, please contact a member of NHS Cambridgeshire’s
Communications Team for guidance.

Use of exclusion zone: You should always ensure there is a small area of
white space around the logo. This should be the height of the capital letter on
the first line of the logo which is 5mm.

The main ‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’ logo and workstream logos
should never appear together side by side.

Newsletter Template

The ‘Sustainable Healthcare Partnership’ logo should appear on the top left
of the newsletter template. The NHS lozenge logo should appear on the top
right of the newsletter template.

The NHS lozenge only should be used. No other NHS logos should be used.
