With this event, Ms. Hurley hopes to raise public concern about the adverse effects of noise. The release of the clavichord CD “Soft Sounds” will be announced at the event and copies will be available to those attending for $15. Some of the proceeds of the CD sales will be donated by Ms. Hurley to Noise Pollution Clearinghouse (www.nonoise.org), the national non-profit advocacy group working on all aspects of noise problems in our society.
