and Alice Brunette, Bruce Coombs, David Silvernail.
7:10 p.m.
Selectmen Phelan and McDougall moved and seconded to appoint Matthew
Carney to the ZBA as an alternate member. ZBA Chairman David Sullivan
would like the applicant to do the abutters and place the ads as they would be
responsible for costs.
Chairman McDougall asked Chief Hyde if he would be putting a fire truck in the
St. Patricks parade.
Pat Pompei, Commander of the American Legion, addressed the Board
regarding establishing a Veteran’s museum at the Larrabee building. Selectmen
Blanchard and Batchelder moved and seconded to allow the American Legion
to use their room at the Larrabee Building for a museum. Voted and approved
5-0
John Edwards spoke regarding a Timber cutting permit on Crooked Ledge Road.
Selectmen Phelan and Monahan moved and seconded to have them forward the
plan to the Conservation Committee and the Planning Board.
Selectmen Blanchard and Phelan moved and seconded to appoint the members
to the Cable Commission. Voted and approved 4-0-1 Selectman Monahan
abstained.
WARRANTS:
Selectmen Monahan and Batchelder moved and seconded Warrant 35-A in
the amount of $5,804.83. Voted and approved 4-0-1 Selectman Phelan
abstained.
Selectman Phelan and Monahan moved and seconded Warrant 35 in the amount
of $876,295.05. Voted and approved 5-0.
Selectmen Monahan and Phelan moved and seconded Warrant WP35 in the
amount of $21,007.01. Voted and approved 5-0.
SIGNATURES:
Selectmen Monahan and Blanchard moved and seconded to sign a disability for
an employee. Voted and approved 5-0
CORRESPONDENCE:
Letter from Mass. School Building Authority.
Letter from Maggie Shader requested a copy of the cover letter from MRI.
Letter of resignation from the fire department – Roger Labrie.
Letter of resignation from the fire department – David Tripp. – letters forwarded to
Chief Hyde.
Selectmen Batchelder and Blanchard moved and seconded to send letters to
David and Roger thanking them for their years of service to the town.
Letter from Hank Barton regarding the Master Plan.
Letter from Diane Federman regarding meeting on land use.
Selectmen Phelan and Blanchard moved and seconded to approve the packet of
PCF’s.
Selectmen Monahan and Batchelder moved and seconded to go to Hampshire
Council of Governments $2,575.80 for stand alone or $2,575.80 for
group.$500,000.00
Selectmen Monahan and Batchelder moved and seconded to forward the letter
from the PVPC regarding Project Information to Planning Board Voted and
approved 5-0
Selectmen Monahan and Batchelder moved and seconded to draft a letter for
Steve Hyde.
NEW BUSINESS:
Selectmen Monahan and Blanchard moved and seconded to build a float for the
Saint Patrick’s Day parade. Voted and approved 5-0
The Conservation Commission voted to create an Agricultural Commission. This
commission hopes to meet in two weeks.
Selectmen Blanchard would like a CORI check on all appointed officials.
Selectmen McDougall will call Kopelman & Paige.
10:17 p.m. Selectmen Monahan and Blanchard moved and seconded to adjourn the
meeting.
