MINUTES OF GEDNEY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD AT GEDNEY DROVE
END VILLAGE HALL ON TUESDAY 10th July 2012.

There was not a public forum.
1) 108.12 Apologies for absence
Cllr Sones & Cllr Hallam gave their apologies and council RESOLVED to accept their
reasons. District Cllr Wilkinson also sent apologies.

Notes from the last meeting held on 12th June 2012 were taken as read, amended as needed &
council RESOLVED to accept them as minutes
4) 111.12 Clerks report
All correspondence from the June meeting has been dealt with.
Cllr Hutchison and Cllr Hallam attended the Code of Conduct Training at SHDC on 3rd July.
The Clerk had a meeting with Eastview Services to discuss remedial work for Walker
Memorial park as per ROSPA Inspection report and is now awaiting a quotation.
In the Councils Budget a figure was included for the latest addition of Arnold Baker; the
clerk will order a new copy this month.

8) 115.12 To Adopt New Code of Conduct
Cllr Webb proposed that council adopt the new code of conduct as put before them, Cllr J
Piggins seconded this motion, all council in favour and item RESOLVED.
9) 116.12 To discuss applications for co-option to council
Cllr E Rose signed his declaration of office.
10) 117.12 To discuss items from parish inspection
Walker Memorial Park – Slide to have top of bank built up with soil and be grassed over,
clerk to get quotes.
Cemetery- Moles, clerk to deal
Allotments – several have weeds but due to weather conditions spraying is delayed
Gedney Dyke – Footway from Shop to 55 Main Rd overgrown and needs clearing, Cllr
Webb to deal. Chain bolt missing from fence at Green, clerk to deal.
Queen Mother Nature reserve – Looking good, ivy to be planted over pill box structure
and concrete post in front of gate to be removed, clerk to deal.
Gedney – green at bus stop not been cut, clerk to contact SHDC
Gedney Drove End – Footpath 15 new work is dropping away at edge, clerk to report.
