                                         MCC COORDINATOR

General Purpose:

The MCC Coordinator, under the general supervision of the MCC Board President, manages the day to
day activities at the MCC.

Example of Duties:

      Open and close the MCC, when required.

      Take reservations and coordinate programs and other events at the MCC.

      Ensure that the rules approved by the MCC Committee are implemented.

      Schedule the cleaning and preparation of the MCC before and after major events

      Schedule the maintenance and use of the MCC.

      Implement security procedures approved by the MCC Committee.

       Review and inspect the facility for safety hazards and other potential problems.

Compensation:             $17.00 per hour

Work Hours:

      This is a part-time position requiring approximately 10 hours a week over six days including
       Friday and Saturday. The specific hours of work will be agreed upon in consultation with the
       President of the MCC depending on the pattern of use of the MCC facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

      Associates degree preferred

      Management experience working in a community center or similar facility.

      Knowledge of building maintenance preferred

      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

      Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Special Requirements

      A valid New York State Driver’s license.

          The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities
           required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

              While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving
               mechanical parts, and other mechanical systems. The employee may be occasionally
               exposed to wet and dry conditions, fumes, toxic and caustic chemicals.

              The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderate
               to loud when in the facility.
