									Audiovisual Technician / Project Coordinator

Job Description
The post is primarily to support our hires and installation facility.

The post is 3 or 4 days a week basic. Additional days are frequently required. This
may result in a particular working week being 5 days or more.

Our normal working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. It may be necessary to work
outside of these hours. A certain amount of flexibility is therefore required in terms
of working time.

Additional days are paid up to 5 days in one week. Any time worked in addition to
that may be available to be taken in lieu, or paid, or as a combination of the two, by
mutual agreement.

The work will involve:

      Advising and liaising with clients
      Processing hire requests
      Specifying and preparing equipment, fixings and other hardware
      Sourcing additional equipment and freelance staff as required from contacts
      Managing project freelance staff
      Managing the installation of equipment
      Managing project schedules and costs
      Testing equipment
      Troubleshooting technical issues
      Hire stock and stores control
      You will be required to do basic woodworking, electrics and building
      Health and safety awareness and god house keeping is essential
      A good knowledge of IT is required
      A clean driving license is preferable
