The Week of November 1, 2010
Math Club Member__________________________________
This week we are working on rounding and starting our
multiplication program. Most of you will easily go through
the multiplication, but I want you to do the multiplication pages
on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (if possible). Next Monday, I
want everyone to be ready to take the timed test and pass it.
From now on each week we will be taking a timed
multiplication test and when everyone passes the 3’s test we will
have a pizza party. When everyone moves into the promise land
multiplication we will have a really special party!!
I expect the math club members to participate in math games
on their own at least three times a week. This weeks’ website is:
Use your multiplication chart
There are 8 pages this week. 3 are the multiplication practice
sheets, 1 is a word problem page, 1 is a rounding sheet, 2 sheets
to help you with your rounding and a multiplication chart. Use
the rounding mountain sheet when you work through your
rounding homework. Remember five or more slide up
four our less go to zero.
Again, if this seems too difficult or easy for your child, please
feel free to call me or email me at 949-500-4742 or
firstname.lastname@example.org. I will collect this sheet at the
beginning of class on the 8th of November.
