   Honors Program

If you’re interested, here are a few things you should know:

All CCD students are welcome in the program.

To participate, students contract with individual instructors to do
work above and beyond the ordinary class requirements. Once
they have completed this supplemental work, the class will be
transripted as an “Honors course.”

Students who complete the Honors Program (15 credits worth of
Honors Courses with 3.5 or better cumulative GPA) will have their
degrees and/or certificates awarded with Honors.

Honors Program graduates receive special recognition at CCD’s
Spring Commencement (graduation) ceremony.

There is no fee to join the Honors Program.
