(1) Academic appointment
We are pleased to offer you a ranked/unranked appointment as a member of the Contract Academic Staff as part/full-time Faculty

Regulations.
(7) Immigration Stipulation (Obligatory for non-Canadian candidates without permanent residency who will reside in Canada
only)
In accordance with Canadian and Québec law, the above offer is conditional upon your obtaining the appropriate work authorization
from any or all of the following as applicable: Citizenship & Immigration Canada, Immigration Québec and Human Resources & Skills
Development Canada (HRSDC). While McGill University undertakes to assist you with the formalities, it cannot guarantee a favourable
decision from the Immigration Authorities. Immigration & Relocation Services in Human Resources can advise you on this procedure at
telephone (514) 398-5598.
(9) Effective Date
We hope that you will accept this offer. It will remain in effect until <date>. Please do not hesitate to contact one of us should you need
