                          MBA PROGRAM

Western Kentucky University, Gordon Ford College of Business is seeking applicants for
MBA Admission Director and Advisor. The MBA office is primarily focused upon student
admission, course registration, course scheduling, and student advising.

    Evaluate applicants for admission to the MBA program including the evaluation of
      transcripts, transfer credits, GMAT scores, prior educational accomplishment, and
      occupational qualifications.
    Manage course registration each semester in compliance with MBA policies and assuring
      appropriate registration that leads to graduations within the target periods within the
      MBA rotation.
    Advise and communicate with students in relation to admission, registration, and other
      program requirements.
    Coordinate with the Office of Graduate Studies and assign graduate assistants within the
      MBA office and the Gordon Ford College of Business.
    Direct day-to-day operations of the MBA office to include the managing of
      administrative and graduate assistant MBA office personnel.
    Coordinate course scheduling assuring appropriate graduation cycles.
    Anticipate and provide support for classes as needed.
    Coordinate with Office of Graduate Studies, Office of International Programs,
      ELSI Program, MBA Committee, and other WKU offices.
    Coordinate all MBA activities, functions, and special events.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Masters Degree is required.
    Masters of Business Administration is preferred. Masters Degree in a related field may
        be accepted as a substitute.
    Three to five years of successful experience in administering program details at a
        comparable level.
    Knowledge of the administrative systems and processes used at the Gordon Ford College
        of Business or similar organization.
    Effective managerial skills including problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    Excellent communication and student service skills.
    Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
    Excellent time-management skills.
    Team skills which enable the Director to work effectively with the Faculty Executive
        MBA Coordinator, Dean’s Office, department chairs, and graduate faculty.
    Cognitive abilities which enable the Director to analyze complex situations and make
        informed decisions.

Salary Grade: 109
Expected Minimum Salary: $37,464.00, Salary is commensurate with experience.
