Job title:      Recruitment Manager

Reports to:     Regional Head, South West & West Midlands

Location:       Home-based, some travel to meetings in Worcestershire/Gloucestershire area

Role type:      Permanent/ PT 30 hrs a week

Salary:         c. 22k pro rata

Cool2Care is an award-winning social enterprise founded in 2007. It supports families with disabled children by
recruiting, training & placing people from the community to help families & young people in need. This brings short
breaks and relief from caring for the parents, and fun, friendship & fresh air for the disabled child.

This Community Interest Company (CIC) limited by shares has enjoyed rapid growth, with a high level of opportunity
arising from widespread social need, new government commitments to disabled children, and the trend towards
personalisation in social care.

Recruitment Manager – Worcestershire/Gloucestershire Area

       lead the recruitment and management of care-workers & personal assistants
       create, coordinate and implement recruitment strategy and process
       ensure candidates are tailored to the needs of the local area and make good PAs for adults and children
        with complex needs and challenging behavior
       deliver against the recruitment plan, specifically focusing on targeted recruitment in hard-to-reach areas
       identify and employ a variety of recruitment marketing techniques
       perform screening interviews & pre employment checks
       liaise with the Training Manager to fill places on Cool2Care training courses and adapt the organisation of
        the courses to meet business needs
       attend training courses with or on behalf of the Training Manager when required.
       work with Family Liaison Manager to organise suitable family placements
       provide ongoing support to care-workers and encourage loyalty once with families
       liaise with C2C Fundraising Manager and contact local organisations to obtain fundraising to support
        Cool2Care’s work in the area
       actively support the launch of new cool2care projects by attending meetings, linking with other providers and
        marketing in the community
       contribute to local fundraising
       attend LA and provider meetings
       have a responsibility to safeguard children and report concerns to the appropriate bodies
       adhere to all relevant Cool2Care Policies


Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes


       Educated to at least A-level/NVQ/Degree level (any subject)
       Self-motivation, drive and determination to deliver results unsupervised.
        previous experience within a customer facing environment
       experience in either recruitment, marketing or programme management
       a confident user of MS Office and other software
       the ability to process and report financial information
       strong communication and interpersonal skills
       A willingness to work from home, as part of a small, flexible team
       Shows drive, determination to commit to deliver results against business targets
       Self-motivated and pro-active with a flexible and ‘hands on’ approach to work
       Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
       Commitment to the organisation’s values including equal opportunities
       A driving licence/access to a car.


       Experience of working in the Not-for-Profit sector
       previous experience of working in a Social Enterprise role
       familiarity with social care, disability or childcare sectors.
