POSITION: LEAD GENERATOR / SALES
This entry level position typically reports to the Sales Representative or Department Manager and is responsible for
increasing a qualified pipeline of clients and related work within the Service Department. The candidate in this position will
develop the skills required to become an outside Sales Representative for Black & McDonald.

Follow-up on inbound/outbound leads. The purpose is to assess the prospect's needs, provide a general introduction of
Black & McDonald’s services, qualify the prospect, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team to begin their
Goal is to set up six (6) to eight (8) well-qualified sales calls per week, per sales representative.
Conduct business with diplomacy in order to create a superior initial prospect experience as a frontline contact for the
Develop, maintain territory, and daily plans to maximize and leverage phone time, including pre-call planning, and
customize scripts to market segments and prospect type.
Develop a CRM system and utilize a consistent contact attempt process to follow-up, nurture, qualify leads and evaluate
closing rates on sales calls.
Learn and articulate technical specs of the services provided by Black & McDonald.
Assist sales representative(s) with proposal writing, equipment and labour pricing as required.
Assist sales representative(s) in analyzing competition.
Assist with any special projects.
Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts based on direct experiences with potential clients.
Participate in department planning meetings as necessary.
Completion of secondary school is necessary.
Sales background is considered an assest.
Knowledge of services such as HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical etc. considered an assesst
