									MARKETING INTERN

Overview:
The A-Team, a design and multimedia company, is looking for a passionate,
motivated Marketing Intern to add to our team this summer. The A-Team is a full-
service advertising agency that prides itself on its high level of customer service and
top quality work. We are a collaborative team who values input from everyone and
you will have an opportunity to work closely with the Marketing team on a wide
range of projects. Therefore, it is crucial that candidates be self-motivating and
eager individuals with a need to learn.

Responsibilities:
The A-Team is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in the coordination and execution
of a variety of projects. The Marketing Intern will assist in expanding The A-Team’s
publicity efforts as well as presence on the web.

Intern will learn about the graphic communications industry, distributors, and
vendors. The intern will understand the customer and be able to relate to their
business needs and how The A-Team supplies market driven solutions. In addition,
they will also present marketing communications ideas that generate customer
interest and participate in implementing these ideas. The intern will be required to
connect business goals to marketing communications initiatives in order to drive
positive results and increase sales. They will conclude the program with a portfolio of
marketing materials that they can present on future job interviews to explain their
role during the internship.

The intern will participate in meetings and events that provide a forum to educate
and perform the duties expected. The process will be taught and the intern can work
independently on assignments. Assignments will be evaluated based on customer
focused targets. The organization will be available to support the intern while guiding
the intern towards success.

      Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to implement marketing
       tactics that deliver sales goals for the organization.
      Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and external parties
       (vendors, trade associations) to insure cohesive messaging across all touch
       points.
      Manage/track communications and creative programs.
      Assist with creation, design, production and distribution of company
       communications (including internal announcements, external newsletters,
       email campaigns, direct mail, social media, etc.)
      Prepare and implement trade show marketing communications strategy.

An Internship at The A-Team is an opportunity to hone your communication skills
and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced advertising agency environment.

Qualifications:

      Knowledge of the marketing function, preferred major in Marketing,
       Communications, Advertising or Business
      Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a team
       member
      Provide stellar customer service to internal and external coworkers, customer
       and vendors at all levels; be courteous, prompt, and timely
      Strong aesthetic sense and an understanding of what makes a great
       consumer experience
      Good Word, Excel & PowerPoint Skills
      An interest in building open, trusting client relationships
      Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
      Ability to operate under pressure and meet multiple, competing deadlines
      Knowledge of marketing trends with experience leveraging Social Networking
       (Facebook, Twitter, etc)

Hours:

      Office Hours are 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday (Closed most holidays)
      15-20 hours per week required for internship.




Duration:

      1 semester/4 months (With possibility of extension or permanent
       employment)




Compensation:

      College Credit (If applicable)
