Prevantative Snoring Practices

Preventative Snoring Practices I wanted to share with you some of the preventative snoring practices that you can use. I want to illustrate how important some of these conditions are to meet. I want to say that not all of them will necessarily be applicable to your situation, but you should at least try and take advantage of all of them. Snoring is a condition that I think issues that go beyond health. Imagine your spouse being in bed next to you having to listen to that night after night for years. That would make a person frustrated, irritated and short with you. If there was a study on the correlation between snoring and divorce rates, I’m sure you’d see that snoring would actually drive a person more toward divorce. This is why I’m going to share with you the preventative snoring practices that can help you. We have to answer the question why you snore to really get down to the solutions. It’s your jaw and the position of it as you sleep. It’s an odd cause and most of you won’t believe me, but I’ll prove it to you. Snoring is essentially air traveling through your throat area and the tissue in that area vibrating. But air travels through your throat 24 hours a day and that tissue will always be there, so why does it only happen when you sleep? It comes right down to your jaw. The jaw sags when you sleep and puts pressure on the throat. Weight loss is a good preventative snoring practice because when you’re overweight you’re going to have a double chin. There is going to be a lot of fat around the neck area and it just creates a lot of pressure in that area as you sleep. As the fat starts to come off it should allow the throat to open up and that is what you want to have happen. It’s important to understand you can still snore even if you’re not overweight. I know plenty of skinny people that have this problem and for you people you need to control the position of your jaw as you sleep. The best thing that you can use is a Jaw Supporter. It’s just a device that you put on your head before you go to bed. It takes 2 seconds to put on and it is very comfortable. It’s one of the best preventative snoring practices that you can apply.
