You may be unsure of what a Chakra exactly is. A chakra is a point on the human body that
communicates and connects to the energy of life force. The word itself has a definition that comes
from a Sanskrit word which means a constantly spinning wheel or sphere of someone's aural
energy.

Traditional Hindu writings have often said that there are nearly 90,000 points of Chakra throughout
every human body, but there are truly only seven extrmely important points of Chakra. These
seven vital points of Chakra can be found from the bottom of the spinal cord all the way up to the
top of the head.


These seven points are the base chakra, the sex chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the chakra of
the heart, the chakra of the throat, the chakra of the brow, and lastly the crown chakra. These
points on our body take in energy from the people in our environment and also transmit energy to
the people in our environment. Therefore, they also influence us mentally, emotionally, and our
daily activities including spiritual activities that we may do.


Whether one chooses the viewpoint of Hindu mythological thoughts for an individual's internal and
external experience, or Chinese medicines, or even the modern explanation through psychology of
human thought processes and consciousness, the chakras form the distinct and valuable thread in
all explanations.


The chakras are in perpetual motion whether we are awake or asleep. Continual activity does
influence the glandular processes, physical disorders, structure and appearance as well as our
actions and deeds. When one or more of the chakras malfunction for different reasons this will
cause an imbalance, it then continues to make it known in other areas.


The reason behind this is that each major chakra is associated with a specific endocrine gland

There are many people that say that one of the biggest issues with an unbalanced chakra is when
people carry around emotional issues. These are generally from their past and in order for them to

You must realize that Chakra healing is extremely good for your body and that you can also
directly influence each and every one of your Chakras. You can do this by employing techniques

The heart chakra takes nourishment from green leafy vegetables and green tea. Tangy fruits like

the throat chakra.
