REVIEW OF 10/24/07 MEETING MINUTES
Conference call began at 1130. Minutes from the last meeting were
reviewed. Update on decisions made at the October meeting:
 Decision: Lisa revised the Charter text based on comments received,
including 1 BIA rep, not 1 rep per BIA region. Charter text was approved
   by the Southwest Coordinating Group.

RECAP OF FALL SESSION (Dotson, Tewa)
 25 graduates. 18,000 acres burned by 5 modules. 1 module sent to Big
Cypress National Preserve (Florida), hosted by former FUTA graduate.
Fall Session offered an exceptional opportunity for burning. 51 field
training assignments completed. All students did well in classroom
  portion.
 Leadership Awards: Staff Award presented to Justin Boeck (Big Bend
NP, Texas). Peer Award presented to Damon Laurion, Platte Canyon Fire
  District (Colorado).
 Due to budget issues and timing, RX-410 was dropped from the Fall
Session since it conflicted with S-390. Lacking RX-410, some students
were unable to work on their Burn Boss task books.

 Decision: Lisa will work with Kathy Lister on the FY08 Cost Summary
spreadsheet to clarify costs and expenditures.
