									                                MAINTENANCE MANAGER

SUMMARY:

Coordinate and manage plant engineering and maintenance for all physical facilities, buildings
and grounds, utilities infrastructure, production and test equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Manage the maintenance function, including supervision of Maintenance Technicians.
       Conduct formal performance appraisals for hourly employees to assess employee
        performance and help employees improve their performance. Administer corrective
        disciplinary action, resolve employee complaints through impartial investigation,
        counseling, or corrective action as needed.
       Manage contractors for building and grounds, utilities, janitorial, equipment installation
        and maintenance
       Manage site security systems and security guards
       Responsible for off-shift process monitoring
       Responsible for buildings and grounds maintenance
       Coordinate and oversee TPM activities by all plant personnel, including record keeping
        and analysis
       Assist in determining the appropriate skills required to assign TPM tasks and
        responsibilities based on knowledge, training and safety considerations
       Plan and maintain spare parts inventory and supplies to minimize production down time

       Plan and control budgets for facilities and maintenance including maintenance supplies
        and site utilities
       Manage the repair and maintenance of production, quality, test and material handling
        equipment.
       Maintain the site infrastructure, including HVAC systems, Boilers, Air Compressors,
        Cooling Towers, the electrical distribution system, lighting, fire protection and process
        support systems such as the Tank Farm
       Plan and execute work during Maintenance Shutdowns.
       Play a leadership role in the Plant Safety Program.
       Assist in evaluating and recommending new or replacement equipment
       Take an active role in continuous improvement and Kaizen, including support of kaizen
        teams and activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

       Bachelors’ degree in engineering, business or technical field plus a minimum of seven
        years’ experience managing Plant Engineering and Maintenance functions or equivalent
        education and/or experience.
       Advanced training in process engineering, hydraulics and industrial controls and process.
       Advanced project management skills with budgeting and expenditure control skills.
