							                        $500 MURRAY ARTS COUNCIL THEATER SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
        Must be a high school senior or college student
        Must have a minimum 3.2 GPA
        Must have performed in a Murray Arts Council musical or served in a support position
               2012 – Lucky Stiff
               2011 – The Wizard of Oz
               2011 – The Fantasticks
               2010 – Cinderella
               2009 – Grease or Nunsense
               2008 – Footloose
               2007 – The Pirates of Penzance
               2006 – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
               2005 – Oklahoma!
               2004 – The Music Man
               2003 – Fiddler on the Roof
               2002 – Once Upon a Mattress
               2001 – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Application:
        Submit a letter of application stating your theater goals and a list of Murray Arts Council musicals
in which you have participated (include role, orchestra, and/or technical position).
        Attach to your letter of application:
            The application form below
            Two letters of recommendation (one preferably from a performing arts related teacher or
            supervisor)
            Theater resume
            Photograph
            Copy of transcripts showing theater or related classes
Deadline:
        Applications must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2012.

Award of Scholarship:
      After enrolling in desired classes, recipient must send a photocopy of the receipt for tuition to
      Susan Dalley, 4754 S 700 E #108, Murray, UT 84107, to verify enrollment. A check will then be
      issued in the amount of $500.
