Themes for the Week
MONDAY: “Twinkie Day” – Find you a friend that will lead you to college. Pick
a friend that wants to go to the same college or university and dress alike.
TUESDAY: “Crazy Hair Day” – College is a hair raising experience. Wear your
hair different today to celebrate your future opportunities
WEDNESDAY: “College T-shirt Day” – Wear your favorite College t-shirt to
celebrate Education Go Get It Week!
THURSDAY: “College Fair Night” - Plan to attend the PISD College Fair at
Connally High School from 6:30 -8:30 p.m.
FRIDAY: “Mix and Match Day” – Mix it up today with Academics and Sports.
Wear mix matched clothes to show your spirit for academics and sports for
your favorite college or university.

Get It Week?
It is a week designated to provide students
with information about higher education,
• options available
• standard college admission requirements
• automatic college admission programs and
• financial aid availability and requirements
GPA- Grade Point
Grades are averaged on a 4.0 scale.
Pre-AP and AP classes weighted to help improve
your Grade Point Average
• Points are divided by the number of courses taken
• This is one of several factors that colleges use to
make admission decisions

The bookmark contest is coming to an end.
All bookmark designs are due Friday, Sept. 28.
The contest is for a reading themed bookmark and
a knight themed bookmark.
The winner of each category will receive
$20 to spend at the December Book Fair!
