CIVIL AIR PATROL AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT
CAPR 66-1, 1 February 2000, is supplemented as follows:
4. The Connecticut Wing is a participant in the CAP Consolidated Maintenance
Program, and shall follow all published directives and procedures of same.
9. b As Connecticut is situated along the Long Island Sound, corrosion control shall be
applied to each aircraft on an annual basis.
10. See paragraph 4.
12. See paragraph 4.
14. b. Member flying rates shall be computed as a wet rate equaling the current (dry)
maintenance rate provided for USAF reimbursed missions plus the prevailing cost
of fuel, plus a small surcharge for oil and incidental expenses. The Wing Finance
Committee shall, on a quarterly basis, review actual maintenance expenses and
flying hours to determine if this rate is sufficient to meet maintenance expenses or
if an increase or decrease in member flying rates is recommended. At the end of
each month, each member will forward payment for non-reimbursed flying done
for that month. Members must use standing FBO accounts in Connecticut, and
their own credit cards or other means when out of state. Members must, upon
return to Connecticut, completely fill the aircraft unless directed by the Director
of Operations to partially fuel same (i.e., to the “tabs”).
Missions flown for the State of Connecticut and its municipalities shall be billed
at the aforementioned established wet rate.
