Week 2. ‘Nomadic Kitchen’: Turkish cooking holiday with Fatih

Dates: Week 1: Sunday 14th October to Saturday 20th October 2012
       Week 2: Sunday 21st October- Sunday 28th October 2012

Join us for two wonderful unique week long holiday experiences (with a difference), set in the stunning
location of Kabak at the Olive Garden with its breathtaking views of the beach and sea.

The yoga week, is led by Sadhita and the focus will be on yoga, meditation and relaxation.
The first week’s yoga programme (Monday – Friday) will also include activities such as swimming, art
workshops, healing massage, exploring and a guided walk along the beautiful Lycian Way.

The second week gives you a chance to learn how to cook traditional Turkish cuisine in the heart of a
working Turkish kitchen. The workshops will be run by an esteemed Turkish Chef, Fatih, who is also the
owner of the Olive Garden.

People travel from across the globe to sample his traditional Turkish recipes.

The weekend will host the optional “cook off grand finale” where in teams you’ll have the opportunity to
cook set menus for a group of special guests. This is your chance to showcase the skills and recipes
you’ve learnt throughout the week.

We’re offering these two special interest holidays as individual packages or as a joint discounted get-away.

The special discounted price gives you a saving of £100 per person, based on 1 person per cabin or a
saving of £50 per person based on 2 people sharing.

Plus an extra £25 off early bird booking before 1st June 2012/ or £50 group booking of 5 or more.

Breakfast will consist of homemade bread, locally produced pine honey, homemade jam, cheese, olives,
fruit and yoghurt.
Lunch will be of your own choice off the menu or out and about.
Dinner will consist of a tasty three course meal-(2nd week only, prepared most evenings by you!)

Accommodation at The Olive Garden
Accommodation consists of individual wooden chalets on stilts with en-suite bathrooms; most have
mountain or sea views and small verandas on which you can while away the hours.
The chalets provide a clean and comfortable base in a breathtaking setting. Olu Deniz, just half an hour
down the mountain has been defined as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the small
unspoilt local beach of Kabak, is just fifteen minutes walk down the mountain.
Kabak is situated along the ancient Lycian way, in a secluded bay along Turkey’s Mediterranean coast.
Only just over one hour from Dalaman airport, it is easily accessible but remote enough to be unspoilt. The
views are stunning and The Olive Garden is the perfect tranquil location, where you can devote yourself to
you; nurturing your mind, body and soul.

For both holidays you should fly into Dalaman Airport on the Saturday or Sunday beforehand. We
recommend an early flight time. Your outgoing flight should ideally be on the following Saturday for the
yoga event or Sunday or early Monday for the cooking holiday.
Transfers can be arranged with a local shuttle bus for under £10 each way to Olu Deniz and a discounted
taxi from there up the mountain, can be arranged. A taxi from the airport will cost approx £45. Please check
with Mel Argent who works for Thomson, for any special deals before booking flights.
