                                 Signs of Bed Bugs Reported (Notification Letter)

Dear Parents/Guardian/ Staff:

Bed bugs have recently been discovered at XXXXXXXXXXXX. Action is being taken to treat
the facility in accordance with the Toronto District School Board’s Bed Bugs Procedure PR--
and in co-operation with TDSB Facilities Services staff and pest control providers. The pest
control experts have advised that

According to Toronto Public Health, bed bugs do not pose a public health threat and are not
known to transmit any infectious diseases. They can, however, be transmitted through luggage,
backpacks, bedding, and clothing.
