The 2009 Alumni Directory was recently published and sent out. Thanks for your participation in phone calls and e-mails.
Membership materials will be going out in June. We’re recently signed a contract with a company called Access Benefits that offers
national discounts to our alumni at shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, car rentals and vacations. We’re also planning to go to
area businesses and get some kind of discount that we can put on-line for our alumni members to use for either on-line shopping or
when they come to the area.
Our April issue of the Alumni Today will be the last issue that will be printed and sent to everyone. We will now be offering the
option to have the magazine available on-line in a suitable format. That version will be available for our August issue.
Chancellor Markee’s retirement party is set for July 24 at Pioneer Farm. You will all be invited to attend that event.
The UWP Foundation is selling all college raffle tickets to raise money for each of the colleges. 500 tickets will be sold at $100 each.
