pocket in front of you and place in the offering plate or pass

Luke 15 tells the story of three parties, each one speaking of
something lost and then found. The lost sheep. The lost coin.
The lost son. All found, to be followed by a party.
The point is clear. Jesus is happiest when the lost are found.
For Him, this relates to the moment of salvation. “There is joy
in the presence of the angels of God when one sinner changes
his heart and life.” (Luke 15:10)
Charles Spurgeon wrote: “Christmas happens every day that
Christ is born in a broken heart…there is joy when the
shepherd brings home a lost lamb on His shoulders…and
when the church sweeps her house and finds a lost piece of
money…Heaven rejoices with joy unspeakable and full of

place on Thursday September 13th starting at 6:30pm.
Christmas Children’s Musicale: If you are interested in a speaking
part in this production ( age 8yrs or older), there will be auditions

NEIGHBOURHOOD BLOCK PARTY
Join us on Saturday, September 8th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm (rain
or shine) for this family fun day. There will be jumping castles,
sumo wrestlers, rides, games, and (of course) food. We look
forward to seeing you for this Rally Day event!
Parking Lot Replacement: The work has now begun on the curb,
and pavement replacement of our parking lot. It is our hope that
this work will be completed before our activities begin in the Fall.
The cost of this project will be offset from the funds received from
the sale of the Quarters on Anspach Street.
Juno Award Christian Artist, Steve Bell, will be in Concert at St.
Thomas Anglican Church on Friday October 12th at 7:30pm.

neighbourhood who are enjoying the music and testimonies. To
