									TriTech User Conference Proposal

Re: TriTech User Conference Proposal

I’m writing to ask for approval to attend TriTech’s annual user conference (TriCON 2012) this September
26 - 28 in San Diego, California. TriCON is two-and-a-half days of learning—best practices, hands-on
training, new innovations. It’s the ONLY conference that brings together the entire community of TriTech
experts and users for critical training, networking and problem resolution for improved use of our [insert
name of VisiNet/VisionAIR products used]. At a total cost of about $2,000, it's the most cost-effective
way to ensure that we’re getting the most from our TriTech software investments.

In particular, I’d like to focus on finding solutions or best practices that could benefit these projects:

       [add project or initiative]
       [add project or initiative]
       [add project or initiative]

Here’s an approximate breakdown of conference costs:

                   Airfare: $ 600
Transportation: (round trip shuttle from airport to hotel) $ 50
                   Hotel: (3 nights at $199 plus taxes) $ 673
Meals: (Per Diem for Meals Tues-Fri) $ 264
                   Registration Fee: $ 695
                   Total: $2,282

The conference should deliver incredible value. The TriCON 2012 program and networking opportunities
are designed to enhance productivity and improve operations through general industry insight and
product training. I’ll learn how to implement and use the latest features and see what’s planned for future
releases. I’ll also develop better contacts with industry experts and gain knowledge in specific areas of
TriTech. These “wins” will pay off in the form of streamlined practices and a network of peers to call upon
when troubleshooting, all invaluable tools.

If given the opportunity to share those improvements with the rest of our organization, the return on our
conference investment would be multiplied. An investment in my attendance at TriCON 2012 would
enhance the overall operations of our agency. I hope you'll agree that my attendance at this training and
management event would make a significant positive impact on our organization.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to your reply.
