            OVERVIEW:
            A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION
               (Subdivision (a) of Government Code section 54956.9)
               Debie Woodruff, et al. v. County of San Diego In-Home Supportive Services
               Public Authority, et al.; San Diego County Superior Court, No. 37-2008-
               00096957-CU-OE-CTL

            ACTION:
            In closed session on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, the Board of Supervisors took the
            following action:
            Item 1A: Debie Woodruff v. County of San Diego In Home Support Services Public
            Authority, a lawsuit seeking the recovery of unpaid wages, by vote of all five
            members of the Board present and voting Aye, authorized the County to file a cross-
            appeal from the jury’s defense verdict, in which the County proposes to challenge a
            finding of law made by the trial court.


There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
