Oral Presentations should be 12 minutes in length. If you have a PowerPoint
presentation, you will be asked to submit your presentation via e-mail to the Office of
Undergraduate Research prior to arriving at the symposium. A question and answer
session will follow each presentation.
Poster Presentations must be no larger than 3ft x 4ft, oriented either horizontally or
vertically, on an easel that will be provided for you. The Office of Undergraduate
Research can print your poster for you.
There will also be limited space for displays of models and original artwork (ceramics,
sculptures, and other art that can be placed on tables). Easels will be available for
paintings, drawings, and other hanging artwork.
You do not have to be there for the full four hours; you will sign up for a two-hour slot in which
you will present. Students should stay with their poster for the duration of their allotted session
(2 hour slot) and be prepared to discuss their research/creative project. Class excuse letters can
be provided. Please contact Dr. Joe O’Shea email@example.com with questions and visit
