                          International Conference on
           Intelligent Systems, Structures and Facilities (ISSF 2012)
                                 - Intelligent Green Buildings -

                       Kowloon Shangri-la Hotel, Hong Kong, China
                             11 January 2012 (Wednesday)


The Conference on Intelligent Structure System and Facility (ISSF2012), organized by Asian
Institute of Intelligent Buildings (AIIB), will be held in Hong Kong on 11 January 2012. You
are invited to submit a paper to this conference to share your knowledge, experiences and
research outputs in the areas of Intelligent Green Buildings and related aspects. If your paper
is accepted to be published in the conference proceedings, the conference registration fee of
the authors of the paper will be waived. If the paper is also invited for presentation in the
conference day, one of the authors of the paper will be invited to join the 11th Anniversary
Dinner of AIIB in the same evening of the Conference without extra charge. ISSF2012 will
include plenary speakers from local senior government officials, invited talks from oversea
delegates, as well as selected paper presentations.

Abstract submission deadline        : 30 September 2011 (Friday)
Notification of acceptance          : 10 October 2011 (Monday)
Full paper submission deadline      : 11 November 2011 (Friday)
Conference day                      : 11 January 2012 (Wednesday)

Abstract Submission

Authors are invited to submit abstracts representing original, previously unpublished work to
ISSF2012. The abstract page should include the title of the paper, author(s), affiliation(s),
address(es), and the email address of the corresponding author. Submissions are solicited in
the areas including (but not limited to) the following areas in building industry. The abstract
should not exceed 200 words and it must be prepared in English ONLY. The abstract should

Format of full paper

If your submitted abstract is accepted, you will be asked to submit a full paper to before the deadline listed above. Late submission will not be
considered. Papers must not exceed 10 pages in length in MS Word format. Template of the
full paper is available at The full
paper can be written in English or (Simplified) Chinese. However, the language of the
Abstract must be written in English. Paper format and requirements must be followed.
Best paper award

The best paper will be selected by the Academic Advisory and Editorial Board from the
papers accepted for presentation. The selection is based on the academic merit, originality,
contribution and written style of the papers. A “Best Paper Award” will be presented to the
author(s) of the best paper. The certificate will be presented to the authors at the Annual
Dinner of AIIB.
