                                     CALL FOR PRESENTERS
Take part in Oregon’s workforce community by sharing your wisdom and knowledge with Workforce
Development Professionals from around the state!

If you are a skilled trainer and want an opportunity to put yourself and your organization on the
map, this is for you. Read the presenter guidelines that follow. Then fill out the “CALL FOR
PRESENTERS” form and return it to the OregonETA Conference Committee by Friday,
April 21, 2006.

The Rendezvous 2006, “Renewing the Spirit: Heart & Soul of Workforce Development”
is a conference for everyone who provides services to job seekers and employers. Our goal is to
make the conference sessions highly interactive.

OregonETA is especially interested in proposals from line staff on programs “large or small” that
have proven to be successful in action. Examples of session topics include the following:
Addressing Barriers to Employment, Motivating Clients, Working with Special
Populations, Workforce Trends, Business & Employer Services, One Stops, Professional
Development Planning, Economic Development Programs, WIA Performance Standards
and Labor Market Information. Please feel free to be creative with your session topics.

Please Note: First consideration will be given to those presenters who are able to attend the
entire 3-day conference. Although we do not have a budget large enough to waive registration fees
we are able to offer a discounted registration fee of $165 (plus an additional $40 for membership)
for one presenter per session topic. Sessions may include up to three presenters, although only one
presenter will be eligible for the discount. All others must pay the full registration fee if they plan to
attend the conference, so please check with your organization before you submit a proposal to
make sure your participation is supported. Lodging costs are the responsibility of each presenter or
presenter’s organization.
