office of the Town Clerk, to view by appointment. If any copies of letters to SHDC, stating
objections or support for these applications, could be made available for the Town Council when it
is making its recommendations it would be very helpful. Or of course members of the public are

6. COUNCIL HALL
To create a working group to bring forward suggestions to full council for improvement for usage and ongoing
maintenance of the Council Hall building.
To create a working group to monitor town cleanliness and improve the town.
8. SALCOMBE TOWN LAND
To consider what action, if any, is required to progress legal proceedings to protect various areas of land
within Salcombe from encroachment up to a fee of £1000.
9. FOUNTAIN ADJACENT TO VICTORIA INN
To consider such works required and actions required so to remedy.
10. WAR GRAVES, BONFIRE HILL CEMETERY
To consider a request by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to introduce a scheme at Bonfire Hill
which would involves planting a border to the front of the headstones and improving the turf around with
ongoing maintenance thereof.
11. SNOW WARDEN GRITTING POLICY
To consider the training received from County Highways and formulate a policy of which areas will initially be
targeted with grit provided and agree a protocol for further action if areas of concern are raised by residents
and what is possible within the limited resources.
12. SEWAGE LEAKS
To consider and discuss the sewage problems within Salcombe and put forward a list of concerns and plan for
taking this matter forward with South West Water and/or the Environment Agency.
