2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
   Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interests, including the nature & extent of such
   interests, that they may have in any items to be considered at this meeting.
   (If the interest is prejudicial, members should leave the chamber).

       Members of the public are invited to address the council on matters relating to this parish.
       To receive District Councillors reports.

   Chair to sign as a true and correct record

5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
   NB: Members of the public please note. Plans of the following applications are available in the
   office of the Town Clerk, to view by appointment. If any copies of letters to SHDC, stating
   objections or support for these applications, could be made available for the Town Council when it
   is making its recommendations it would be very helpful. Or of course members of the public are
   very welcome to come and speak in the Open Forum section of the meeting.

    For councillors to consider the following applications and send observations to the District as

      3014/11/O Application to renew extant outline planning permission 41/1768/08/O (for demolition of
         existing buildings and construction of 3 dwellings) Trennels, Herbert Road, Salcombe TQ8 8HR –
         Applicant Mr and Mrs Roger Vaughan – To consider the previous meeting response in the light of
         additional information.
      DEFERRED ITEM 3019/11/O Outline planning application for proposed mixed use development
         comprising 51 dwellings (20 affordable, 30 open market and 1 landowners dwelling) about 500m2 B1
         employment space, 50m2 toddlers play area with potential access for public amenity and adventure
         play area to adjoining woodland, pedestrian links and associated landscaping Development site at SX
         733 393, Batson Cross, Main Road, Salcombe – Applicant Mr and Mrs J.M. & C.M.E. Elwell

6. COUNCIL HALL
To create a working group to bring forward suggestions to full council for improvement for usage and ongoing
maintenance of the Council Hall building.

7. STREETSCENE
To create a working group to monitor town cleanliness and improve the town.

8. SALCOMBE TOWN LAND
To consider what action, if any, is required to progress legal proceedings to protect various areas of land
within Salcombe from encroachment up to a fee of £1000.

9. FOUNTAIN ADJACENT TO VICTORIA INN
To consider such works required and actions required so to remedy.

10. WAR GRAVES, BONFIRE HILL CEMETERY
To consider a request by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to introduce a scheme at Bonfire Hill
which would involves planting a border to the front of the headstones and improving the turf around with
ongoing maintenance thereof.

11. SNOW WARDEN GRITTING POLICY
To consider the training received from County Highways and formulate a policy of which areas will initially be
targeted with grit provided and agree a protocol for further action if areas of concern are raised by residents
and what is possible within the limited resources.

12. SEWAGE LEAKS
To consider and discuss the sewage problems within Salcombe and put forward a list of concerns and plan for
taking this matter forward with South West Water and/or the Environment Agency.
