QUARTERLY PROGRAM REPORT

Additional copies of Quarterly Program Reports can be obtained from the Michigan State Police (MSP), Grants
Management Section web site located at www.michigan.gov/cjgrants. To download this report, click on “Byrne
JAG & RSAT Grant Application and General Information” and then “Forms.”
This Quarterly Program Report is due to the MSP no later than 20 days following the end of the quarterly
report period. Unless prior arrangements have been made with your grant advisor, the report is due on January
20, April 20, July 20 and October 20.
Failure to submit the report by the due date will cause the MSP to withhold the release of funds.
After completing each report, be sure to save it to your computer. You will be attaching the report to your account
within the MSP’s e-grant system (MAGIC), for electronic submission.
To electronically submit your report using MAGIC, log in to MAGIC using your assigned login and password; click
on view reports; and follow the directions for attaching and submitting your report.

1. List the number of index crimes/non-index crimes that are associated with this quarter. Following is an explanation for
the reporting columns:
Team Arrest: When the team is directly involved in obtaining an arrest warrant for one of the violations.
Assisted Arrest: When the team assists an agency with obtaining an arrest warrant for one of the violations.
Warrant Arrest: When the team locates or provides information or services that leads to the warrant arrest of a
person wanted on one of the violations (includes assist).
Clearance: When the team receives direct or indirect information that allows a local agency to clear one or more
of the listed violations. A clearance is understood if the team is involved in the arrest, assisted arrest or
warrant arrest and should not be duplicated in this section. If the arrested person is arrested on multiple
charges, only the most serious is listed as an arrest, assisted arrest or warrant arrest, the remainders of the
