What We Can Do i
It has been said that citizenship is really about learning to live
together in a group or community. Although it is true that young
citizens of Canada cannot vote or hold political office until the age
of 18, there are many things they can do that are examples of
citizenship in action.
As a group, develop a list of actions and decisions that you can
take as citizens to support democratic principles such as equality,
freedom, and community participation.
