The last time aliens abducted me,
They probed my inner thoughts.
But when they finished their probing,
The results were not what they sought.
They expected great revelations
About what makes us tick.
But when their findings were studied,
The little green guys got sick.
Apparently the thoughts they probed
Were from my young and wilder days.
The results appeared to confuse them,
As they walked around in a mental maze.
Finally, their leader approached me,
And in his broken English said,
“Whassa matta wit you Earthmans?
Why is muddy water in you head?”
So they returned me to where they found me,
Then left, in a mood not so merry.
But I heard they returned sometime later,
And abducted my good friend, Terry.
I guess the results were the same with him,
Because they returned him just as fast.
Maybe now they’ll leave us both alone,
Since they were not too thrilled with our past.
But you, our dear friends know about us,
Your memories we don’t have to jog.
I’m sure none of you find us weird or strange,
Just because we see crowing dogs!
