It is the duty of the architect to create the built environment. To me this is a great
responsibility and must be done with the utmost care and ingenuity. As a
profession, architecture must take it upon itself to create elegant and sustainable
structures that will last for generations and not simply suffice for passing fads. This
takes careful planning and good design that is both stimulating and adaptable.
