                          VISION
To enhance public health research, medical research,
and biotechnology development amongst research
organizations at Fort Detrick through the establishment
of a loose confederation of research organizations who
are willing to discuss areas of common interest and, if
of benefit to their organization, work in collaboration to
coordinate and synchronize scientific interaction in
areas of mutual interest

           The Surgeon General of the Army, the Director of NCI, the
        Director of NIAID, the Acting Administrator, ARS, USDA, and the
        Director, Office of Research and Development, S&T Directorate,
              DHS are providing partnering leadership and direction
