                             “Dam Jam Downtown, A River Rescue Celebration”
                                        June 9th, 2012 3:00pm -11:00pm
For many years this event has been held on the banks of the Finley River in Ozark, Mo. The event has outgrown
the previous location. This combined with the recent City Council ordinance acceptance of event and liquor
sales on the square has provided a perfect opportunity to hold our event, for the first time, in downtown
Springfield, Mo. The Dam Jam Downtown celebrates and supports the water quality in our springs, streams,
rivers, and lakes and is organized by and benefits the James River Basin Partnership.
(www.JamesRiverBasin.com) Our River Rescue Event takes place earlier on the same day, hosts over 200
volunteers and removes approximately 6 tons of trash from a stretch of the James River annually. The Dam Jam
Downtown celebrates this accomplishment and supports future water quality efforts. Holding events such as this
on the square is a rather new experience for Springfield and we hope to create a fun and festive atmosphere that
citizens will look forward to attending for years to come. If you are interested in participating in the “Dam Jam
Downtown, A River Rescue Celebration”, please fill out this application form and submit it with your payment.

                                        APPLICABLE TO ALL VENDORS


          Celebration is open from 3:00pm to 11:00 pm.
          Set-up -begins at 10:00am the day of the event and must be completed by 2:30pm.
          Tear down- Informational booths after 8:00pm. Food vendors must serve food until 10:00pm. All booths
           must be torn down and removed from the premises by 1:00am. All equipment (tables and chairs) borrowed
           from JRBP must be returned to the storage unit.
          Exhibitor agrees to obey all laws, ordinances, and regulations governing the use of the square and to abide
           by the rules and regulation of City Fire and Police Departments, Missouri Department of Revenue, and
           such other public officials whose duties may regulate exhibits.
          By signing this agreement exhibitor agree to indemnify and hold harmless James River Basin Partnership
           and its employees against any and all claims arising out of acts of the exhibitor and his representatives, or
           out of activities within the exhibitor’s booth area.
          If you are selling, please fill out a copy of the attached form entitled “Group Sales Event, City License
           Requirement”. If you need to purchase a temporary permit you may do so using the attached form.
          The Dam Jam Downtown is held outdoors and subject to nature. There are no refunds unless canceled by
           JRBP for safety reasons.
          JRBP has the right to determine participation – once you have submitted your application you will receive
           notification of acceptance,
          To secure your space, and place your logo on the t-shirts please return a signed and completed vendor
           agreement form with full payment no later than May 15th 2012 and email logo to
           jamesriverbasin@gmail.com.
          As space allows vendors may apply until May 30th, 2012
          Vendor information will be emailed to you. It will include: parking information, booth location, and other
           Celebration information.
          Note: Due to the nature of the Celebration some items on this document may change such as set up time,
           locations, etc. If changes occur vendors will be notified ASAP.
