MEC MOKOMELE-MOTHIBI TO PRESIDE OVER GRADUATION
CEREMONY OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LEARNERS


North West MEC for Social Development, Women, Children and People with
Disabilities Mosetsanagape Mokomele-Mothibi will on Tuesday preside over the
graduation ceremony of more than three hundred Masupatsela youth learners to be
held the University of North West in Mafikeng in Ngaka Modiri Molema,
Departmental spokesperson Vuyisile Ngesi said on Sunday.


“The aim of the Masupatsela Youth Pioneers Programme is to recruit, train and
absorb unemployed and out of school youth.” Ngesi said, adding that the learners
have    completed   Community profiling, Community Development        Facilitation,
Cooperatives Development, Local Econonic Development, Youth in Development,
and Practical modules rendered by the University of North West.

Ngesi said the department has prioritised implementation of Masupatsela Youth
Pioneer programme with the aim of improving skills and ensuring that young people
from poor communities in the districts become employable through creation of job
opportunities in social service professions and second economy development
projects.
The graduation ceremony will be held as follows:-
