The Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation requires all prospective applicant institutions
requesting Ontario Research Fund (ORF) large infrastructure funds to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) by
December 7, 2011. Submitted NOIs will be assessed by an Ontario Strategic Value Panel.

  For multi-institutional projects with distributed infrastructure across Canada or infrastructure sited outside of the
province, the lead Ontario institution must submit an ORF application for the Ontario component of the project. The
institution should also ensure that out-of-province partners submit funding applications to their respective
governments for their components of the project

community and/or advance Ontario’s strengths in bio-economy and clean technologies, advanced health
