OUR TECHNICAL TRAINING COURSES

Dufitek Engineering & Automation Limited provides different kinds of world class practical
engineering and technical training courses for undergraduates, fresh graduates, engineers, technicians and
craftsmen in:

1. Electrical/ Electronic Engineering works
2. Industrial Automation and Control Applications and
3. Integrated Electromechanical Systems

Our training courses are not academic. The courses are designed to immediately provide trainees with the
practical skills which will contribute to their productivity, with some necessary theoretical backgrounds.
Our course contents meet up with local and international standards.

OUR TRAINING APPROACH

Dufitek’s preferred approach to training, particularly industry related training, is competency- based. To
that end, all Dufitek Trainings are 80% practical hands-on. Emphasis is placed on mastering the tasks
specific to the jobs rather than just learning how the tasks are performed.


METHODOLOGY
The training methodology employed makes use of instructor-led classroom sessions with opportunities
provided for field trips, demonstrations, practical hands-on applications and knowledge/Practical
assessments where appropriate. Presenters are encouraged as much as possible to adopt a participative
and interactive approach in an adult learning environment which combines the following learning
techniques:

Dufitek also supports on-the job training (OJT) for delegates that offer courses such as: Diesel/Gas
generating plant and High voltage Electrical Installations.


ASSESSMENT


All our hard-core courses for Engineers and Technicians are condensed from long term training period to
maximum of 600 hrs to accommodate a more intense learning experience and to appease the concerns of
Participants and sponsored organizations with respect to the high cost of technical training. However,
craftsmen training may last up to six months. Our courses require participants to take a knowledge
assessment test at the end of the course for which the participant earns (himself/herself) a certificate of
successful completion, if he or she gains a pass mark of 60% and above.
We also guide participants to pass the city and guild certificate/Diploma Examinations.



QUALITY TRAINING MANUALS AND MATERIALS

A fully illustrated training manual with hundreds of pages, tables, Charts, figures and handy hints, plus
considerable reference materials are provided at very minimal charge to each trainee.
